British Sign Language (BSL) is the first or preferred language of an estimated 80,000 Deaf people in the UK, and in March 2003, BSL was recognised by the Government as a language in its own right. In March 2022 the BSL Act became law.

Our introduction course is a great way to start learning British Sign Language (BSL). Enjoy a relaxed and fun learning environment with topics that can include family, numbers, colours, emotions and animals.
This course ideal for anyone wanting to learn some signs and gain a better understanding of Deaf culture, BSL and Deaf Awareness.
BSL Practice Groups
We host BSL practice groups across the county giving you the opportunity to improve your skills. Our groups are a great way to sharpen your BSL skills as well as making new friends.
