Becky joined CDA in November 2022 and she is hard of hearing, I love to use my hands by crafting, cooking, and pottering in the garden and loves reading a good book.
Caroline Milburn
Support Worker
Caroline is another long-standing member of the team. She is deaf.
Debbie Harrison
Support Worker
Debbie joined CDA in 2024 and is hearing. Debbie has Deaf parents and used BSL as her first language growing up. She loves spending time with her family and 4 children. She is a keen runner and enjoys keeping fit.
Debbie Wilkinson
Community Engagement Coordinator
Debbie joined CDA in September 2023. She is hearing and has Deaf family. She enjoys cooking and the outdoors, especially walking with Kevin and Pippa, two noisy Jack Russels.
Greer Shepherd
Acting Manager – Administration and Contracts
Greer joined CDA in 2002, left in 2019, and rejoined in August 2020. She is hard of hearing, uses a hearing aid, and holds a Level 3 Sign Language qualification. In her spare time, she makes resin jewellery and art, and is kept company by her two parrots.
Harriet Wood
Bank Support Worker
Harriet joined CDA in May 2024 and is hearing. Harriet has a degree in BSL from Heriot Watt University.
Helen Todd
Support Worker
Helen joined CDA in May 2024 and is Deaf.
Karen Edmondson
Senior Interpreter/Acting Manager – Personnel and Support
Karen joined CDA rather a long time ago. She is hearing and when not whizzing around the county interpreting, she likes to drink wine and spend time with her family and animals.
Lucy Belton
Business Support
Lucy joined CDA in 2022 and loves meeting people out in the community and is enjoying learning BSL. She loves spending time family, friends, and her sausage dog Archie.
Rebecca Kiggins
Support worker/BSL Teacher
Rebecca joined CDA in September 2023. Profoundly Deaf due to meningitis at age one, she communicates using BSL and SSE. A mother of three, she balances family life with her love of running, recently completing the London Marathon and working toward 100 park runs by September 2025.
Nicola Alloway
Interpreter/Acting Manager – Finance and Community
Nicola joined CDA in April 2023 after working freelance. Nicola is hearing. She likes cake, chocolate and playing cricket.
